That last one is really cool! How do the arcs work? It looks like the textures are animated, but that seems like it would’ve been a lot of drawing—is there some distortion / thresholding thing going on?

I wonder how you created the slime-splash-textures. Are those simulated somewhere and rendered out or painted/photobashed?

The splashes are simulated in Houdini and rendered out. Very simple stuff - 2x2 texture
