The framerate of the gif makes it hard to see what is going on.
But from what I can see it all feels off sync and too static.
The mesh that’s being spawned on the ground has no motion to it and it’s unclear what it is, especially the way it dissolves.
The wave fx is coming after the impact which makes very little sense and I would have expected more debris, smoke and bits of molten rock flying when that thing hits the ground.
