Translucent VFX not casting shadows

Hi guys, when trying in 5.4 or 5.5 to cast shadows from translucent material VFX, nothing happens and I cannot figure out why…

Here is my current setup :

DirectionalLight :

I’ve also tried enabling the Volumetric Translucent Shadow, and also enabling the cast shadows as Masked, but no luck.

If anyone knows what might be going wrong, I would really appreciate, thanks !

Seems like Virtual shadow maps and ray tracing is what was wrong. Now it works with cascade systems, but not Niagara…
Needed to re activate Volumetric Translucent Shadow and it works now.
Not sure if there is a way to keep VSM and somehow bypass it for niagara effects.
