Hey y’all! I have a couple of general questions for you. I would be interested in your point of view on these processes.
How do you go through the process of creating a VFX?
What questions do you ask yourself?
How do you develop your creativity?
How do you decide which technical method to use (for shapes, textures, emitters)?
Have you ever felt that you are not good enough? burnout? What do you do when you feel like that?
Wanted this topic to be informative and something you can open up about. Thank you in advance.
How do you go through the process of creating a VFX?
For me as a beginner, the process of creating a VFX is to see something I like and try to do something similar. But sometimes I do things of my own, but I get stuck a lot.
What questions do you ask yourself?
Timing is always a question for me, also, Is the vibe of the effect all right?, colors, shapes… Is this looking cool?
How do you develop your creativity?
I do some sketches, and pinterest is always i good web to look at for inspiration
How do you decide which technical method to use (for shapes, textures, emitters)?
I’m like a crazy alchemist. I mix all kinds of textures, materials and shapes… I dont really know a lot about tecnical
Have you ever felt that you are not good enough? burnout? What do you do when you feel like that?
Of course I have, because I don’t have a job at the moment, I often wonder if I’m good enough, if my effects are good, if I’m very unlucky, but I also enjoy making things that look cool to me.
Burnout?
I also get it when I have pushed myself to the limit or have been at the limit too much in a week.
What do you do when you feel like that?
I touch grass and go outside, maybe watch an episode of some show, or just get away from technology for a few hours.
I appreciate you taking the time to answer!
