Hey Everyone! I haven’t used the vertex animation tools in unreal much and am trying to figure something out but I just can’t figure out how to get it to work. I am trying to use a vertex anim in a particle system and I want that vertex anim to always start on frame 1 when the particle plays. I have tried to connect a dynamic parameter to the TimeWithSpeedVariable in order to animate this value from 0 jumping up to 1 immediately once I want the animation to start playing, but that doesn’t seem to do quite what I would expect it to do. Has anyone had success in setting up a vertex animated particle to play from the beginning of it’s animation whenever it is spawned? There must be something I am missing. Thanks!
Ahh, nevermind, I figured it out. Just needed to get rid of the TimeWithSpeedVariable in the material and connect the dynamic param directly to morph animation. Should have tried that before I posted, sorry!
