This Nebula Generator might be interesting for other people as well. Here is how I used it for my game.

Yesterday, I gave my VFX/Tech Art Class for the 5th time.
I was invited to teach online at SAE Institute Australia, Vertex School & Nord University and in person at DAE - Digital Arts and Entertainment and Cnam-Enjmin. In total, several hundred students joined the class and I got nice feedback.
If you want more details: I created a special page just for the course: Tech Art Course – Simon Trümpler
I always provide a Google Doc with my contact info, project download and further materials, but even more important: A question-section where the students can write their questions during the course. As this is anonymous, it takes off the pressure to ask “stupid” questions (which don’t exist), and several times during the class I visit this section and answer the questions. And since this happens in the Google Doc and not in the Zoom Chat, the questions (and answers) stay there as an archive for later.
One day before the actual teaching, I always give the class to myself, just to make sure I’m still “in the flow” and don’t have hiccups during the course. And still, yesterday Unreal dropped a nice little bug on me - game dev just never gets boring.
Usually I record my screen (and my voice) which is helpful as I can provide the video to the students afterward. These videos also help future-Simon a lot when he prepares for the next course. It’s nice to watch the video, and take mental notes of what went well and what could be improved.
In summary, I can say, that it takes FOREVER to prepare a project/course, and it costs me several hours in preparation every time I’m asked to present it again. But it’s also fun and when I get the feedback that the teaching was useful, it feels wonderful!
p.s. But talking 3h straight really goes on my voice.
