Seeking Info on Decal Projection Fade from Decal Volm Center

Hello, I’m new to using decals of unreal engine. You could see in my attatchment video that as an object enter the decal actor bounds; the projection gets smoothly faded in. I assume decals are volumetric thing. Now I have seen all options at decal actor but nowhere I found a parameter which can control this feature.

Basically I will be faking a projector using a decal, I dont want to use Spotlights. Recently I did came across pretty complex and interesting decal posting which made me believe that it’s possible to control many feature of decals using the editor only.

You’ll want to create a deferred decal material.
I believe this is simply the behaviour of that default placeholder material
