How to create tears + wetmaps on charcter?[UE5]

Basically something like the gif above

I’d like to use Niagara particles to either project or expose a wetmap (the Niagara would be a leader and the wetmap the follower) on the character’s skin but I’m not sure how to go about it. The best progress I’ve made was this reddit post from the creator of the gif above and he gave some good tips but I’m not sure how to bring it altogether the way he did, especially having it travel on the UVs. I only know of Niagara’s new skeletal traversal kit but that’s about it.

To achieve this, you need to pin the skeletal mesh UV to the world UV, then create tear evidence marks on the render target texture at the specified location.

The tear evidence marks can be generated through materials, using Niagara’s Ribbon Renderer, or by utilizing Niagara’s Scratch Pad (among various other methods).
