@Holdimprovae sorry if i am troubling you but are you planning to make a breakdown? i really want to know how you did it. i love the effects

Unfortunately, I don’t have plans right now to do a breakdown for the time being due to other scheduling commitments.
but Instead, I’ll answer any specific questions you may have.

I’ve got a moment, so I’m leaving some notes on the core FX elements

For the main lightning beam, I’m using the Ribbon Beam Renderer.
Spawn Burst is around 7 to 10. The jagged effect comes from the Jitter Position module creating the signature “bzzzz” look.

Visually, the several lightning beam’s start and end points must remain fixed.
so to achieve this, I multiply the Jitter Amount by a Float Curve indexed by the Return Normalized Exec Index.

I’m really curious about your refraction. You used quite a lot of it and it’s very dynamic and has interesting shapes!

I set the DOF setting of several materials used for refraction to Before DOF

This makes refractions affect each other. The key point to watch out for in this method is that even slight refraction can have a strong impact, so adjustments must be made carefully.
