Nice! I would try adding some more anticipation in the buildup, have it grow smaller or go faster closer to the explosion! That way it communicates a bit better

It looks amazing! I would just change some little things:

  • make the spark move faster to give it more urgency and the
  • the cartoony cones dissapear faster
  • make the smoke clouds bigger

I’m impressed!
