Hey Everyone,
A few months ago, I started my Patreon, where I take the textures I create in substance for the Youtube audience and turn them into a VFX in the game engine. The idea is to create a series of tutorials focusing on Niagara in UE4 and Unity particles, trying to recreate the same VFX in both engines. I also show many material tips and tricks in both UE4 and Unity (Amplify shader editor).

Here are a few gifs of my work
It started by me exploring substance designed for texturing purposes, and people requested some tutorial, so I’ve opened a Patreon. YT + Patreons take a long time for me to actually record some videos like those on Patreon are usually 1 h long each month per engine. I will try to keep it alive as long as possible.
I’d love to know also if people actually using Substance designer for VFX. I’ve been normally painting my textures in photoshop but I sort of found a workflow now where I create textures in substance and adding final touches in PS. This method combined with Houdini for procedural mesh generation, speed up my workflow a lot. Anyway let me know what you think and if you have any suggestions for future SD tutorial. Thanks
