There’s a bunch of nice VFX/Tech Art Bootcamp stuff during the summits/bootcamp days.

Unfortunately the Technical Artist Bootcamp takes place the same day as the VFX Bootcamp.

I would recommend the Frostbite GPU Emitter Graph System Presentation, I’m sure it’ll have a lot of interesting tidbits for artists and techies alike

Knowing parts of what’ll be in that presentation, and who is presenting it I can VERY much recommend checking it out.

There are some other things too but I haven’t yet ironed out the… conflicts. There is too much cool stuff and I can’t go to all of it. Alot of the Substance Designer things happen at the same time as VFX Stuffs for example. :frowning:

I have to choose between Daniel Thiger (Bungie) who is really good with Substance or some fellow forum mates Fred Hooper (NVIDIA), Jamie DeRuyter (Ringling College of Art and Design), Ashley Pinnick (Google), Martin LaLand Romero (ILMxLAB), Bill Kladis (Epic Games). GAAA!

I got some conflicts too, but I’m lucky enough to also have access to the vault.
Since I will be able to watch the ones I will miss, I will favour roundtables or the talks where maybe I want to talk to the people afterwards. Priority goes to what matters more being seen live.
