Unreal Rendering Order

I was watching Gabriel Aguiar’s new Beam tutorial

and when trying to recreate it in Niagara it occurred to me that rendering order isn’t straight forward as unity, I tried playing around with the sort hint order for each emitter but it was not working, is it made for transparent materials exclusively, because even that’s not working? I’m pretty sure I’m missing something in UE 5.3

I was looking at this Thread but nothing seemed to work

Edit: it works but requires a transparent material on my mesh, but honestly I think is a limitation, but the issue is solved
