Unreal Engine some question of reflection effect


I’ve been tying to make shockwave effect, at last I found some problem with this reflection effect.It’s that any way to fix the edge?
It’s look so weird…

Adding +1 to your refraction input should do
(1 Refraction = No Refraction)


If you are using a mesh you can use a Component mask to to hide the border then multiply for the refraction.

I found another question right now, in some angle the reflection will disappear, I don’t know it’s a bug or something else?

Maybe a case of Z-Fighting. Try and spawn the effect slightly higher above the ground.
