I am working on a game in which player can do dashes.
I have worked with a VFX artist to create the dash’s visual effect, but we are facing two visual artefacts and are not sure how we could handle those. I have tried searching solutions for a while now but I couldn’t find anything, so here I am
1: during dashes, there is a precise spot where the ribbon looks stretched close to 0, create a split effect in the trail
2 : during dashes (and especially at the end, when the trail is retracting this is really visibile), there is a thin visible line with huge scale
If anyone got an idea or a track we could follow, it would be greatly appreciated!
