I’m was wondering if anyone has any experience with the hair material in Unreal4? There’s an example material but there’s no documentation on how it works. We’re getting some weird lighting issues with it at the moment (weird bright white effect with the back faces) but we can’t seem to figure out why. Any help/examples on this would be excellent.

can u screen capture it? Or is it under NDA
It could be due to transluscency sorting issues. In UE4 I use 2-sided masked material with alpha dithering, and the “hair” lighting model, which works fine.
The alpha dithering need the temporal AA to be actived, inside your post process settings.
