My first VFX Magical Spell, feedback and a little bit of help needed :D

After getting into basics of VFX i tried to create my first spell called ‘Kraken Light’, i think it looks good but i’m having problems with trail, i’ve played with settings for hours but i couldn’t make them properly

I would appreciate every feedback and advice

this frame looks good but I think someone could help you better if you precise what problem do you have and add gif or a video of this effect.
