Hey all,
been working on this lasergun and I don’t like this passive effect inside the barrel.
For sure need something inside but just panning noise looks kind of plane.
Could you please give me some ideas or refs?

I think something more aggressive might be a good fit. Maybe arcs of electricity or plasma?
In general, more emissive is nice; this will make it feel more dangerous and focus the attention on the barrel.
When shooting the gun, the arcs can also travel forward and then release, once the barrel has fully filled up with energy.
