Saw it on Twitter and i just had to ask, what do you use for velocity in the FLIP sim?
Is it just from an object normal or do you use another solution? i can never get a good “random” splashy feel to my splats. It always looks too controlled.

Great stuff!

Cheers,

The key is break up the emission shape and vel.

This is emission from a sphere with a mountain to make it undulate in all directions. Then add some noise to the velocity to break up the shapes, and use something like this to aim it in a direction - source flip fluid with velocity - Effects - od|forum

Tons of surface tension and viscosity to help with “sheeting”

Also great tips in general here -

The ribbon collisions look very cool! Any tips or resources for setting up the collision for them? Niagara is a very new beast for me.
