I am learning vfx and I have noticed that there is a difference in how my effects look in the level and how they look in the niagara display or material editor.
Do you know how I can make a good setup of the level? I feel that the light in the level affects a lot and I can’t make dark effects.

Probably best would be to get a ready environment.
There are plenty of free ones on Fab that you could grab (sometimes there are huge discounts or also some to grab for free). They usually have ready up levels you can use.
Hmm as for dark effects, make sure you don’t have Additive as a blend mode, as it can’t be black (otherwise it disappears), better to go for Translucent in that case
