They did a couple of presentations at GDC, one of the coolest ones was their procedural placement on the GPU:

SO COOL. If you have access to the GDC Vault the presentations are there too.

I’ve been playing it for almost three weeks solid and I’m still loving it so if you haven’t already I definitely recommend picking it up. It’s a really beautiful game…
