Hexagonal Shield

Hey guys been working a hexagonal shield effect for practice. It is a simple effect and i dont want to overload it with noise but wondering if there is something else i could give it to make it pop.

It is meant to show a shield / protection effect from a tech source rather some magic spell.

What do you think?

If some of the hexagons were offset from each other, maybe using bump offset or using vertex offset in your mesh a tad, that might help break it up a bit
