Daniele Guerini - The Lonesome Guild VFX

I started posting on November 1st and ended up sharing almost 35 posts, covering a wide range of effects: playable characters, enemies, bosses and environment VFX.

This was my first real experience working as a VFX Artist in production, starting as a junior. There was no dedicated VFX lead, but I was lucky to work with a great team. I learned a lot from designers and the art director, especially about communication, clarity of intent, readability, and how VFX fit into gameplay and technical constraints.

Not everything is perfect. Some effects weren’t implemented exactly as intended, and we had limits in time, tech, and experience. But that’s part of the process and a big part of the learning.

I’m grateful for the growth, the challenges, and the people at Tiny Bull Studios who made this journey possible.
