Thank you ![]()
Yes the snow is made with very large quad, a simple texture full of snow flakes and with a little distortion to fake that are falling one by one. This to have less particles possible and achieve a nice and full effects.
There are also different layers to have depth and the particles spawners follow the camera so everything outside the view got killed with a collider.
Well well well…
With the environmental/ exploration VFX I’m done, just left out some little ones but I mean.
Now it’s time for some enemies ![]()
These videos are collected by biome cause they don’t have as many skills as the heroes or the bosses does.
The first are the Arcolaryum enemies.
Some video previews seems black to me. Do you have any suggestions to avoid this problem?
I have no idea, thumbnail on yt seems to work. Maybe @Niels will know :o
some are black for me too.
Only thing I can see that’s slightly odd is the youtu.be link format, maybe something in the backend doesn’t know how to deal with that?
I don’t know why but linking the video in a playlist and not directly worked
good to know
Something less refined but functional anyway ![]()
Here are Espiritu Ori enemies I worked on.
This is the last post about enemies and I’m happy to share soon some bosses VFX ![]()
Finally a Boss, so happy to share them!
This is Rottrum Tram ![]()
Work on the bosses vfx were way more interesting than most of everything else to me. I love to try to express more of the character peculiarities and the feeling of danger trying to keep the vfx bold but readeble enough to enjoy the gameplay ![]()
Hope you like it ^^
He is Tor Ve Do and he loves leaves ![]()
Everything, from the arena to his skills, has something with these leaves.
Tor Ve Do is the first character I worked on, and the VFX are really changed since that day, but I love how it’s turned out ![]()
Here is Mysterious Warrior ![]()
She is Mother M. a really strange and scary witch ![]()
