Hey, superb work, the visuals look amazing.
I’m lingering on two moments of the effect: the casting (00:00 sec) and the portal part (00:08 sec).
Cast part: I feel the eclipse could be improved, either by masking the black circle so you only see it when it’s eclipsing the moon (like a real eclipse), or by adding something else that makes the viewer/player anticipate an attack or danger (+ maybe the outer red glow could start sooner).
Portal part: Even though the visuals are top, I don’t fully understand what’s happening. Is the attack damaging, or is it teleporting it to another place?
So basically, my feedback is more on the storytelling side rather than the visual/technical part.
