“The School of Communications at Webster University invites applications for a faculty position in film, television, and video production with teaching duties primarily in post-production, editing, motion graphics, and visual effects. We are searching for a new colleague, a filmmaker and storyteller, whose background, experience, and areas of expertise complement our existing strengths and add diversity to our faculty. Candidates with experience in XR (augmented and virtual reality) and virtual production techniques, and those able to bridge with our programs in animation, game design, or interactive media, are of particular interest.

Minimum Qualifications
A master’s degree, professional experience, teaching experience, and evidence of potential for academic career success are required; the MFA or PhD is preferred. The successful candidate will have broad knowledge of the field, an area of specialization, mastery of the technical requirements within the specialization, and have expertise, experience, and background that complements that of existing faculty members.
