Gonna share a little preview with you - Combining my years of experience in 2D animation, and my recent obsession with programming: this is the Time Filter System which is difficult to explain in words but easy to understand in the attached videos. Basically - the coveted Spiderverse style of animation drop-framing with all the control in the hands of the animator without the need to bake curves. I’m actually going to Siggraph in LA this year to give a talk on the system and give artists the tools they need to build a Time Filter system of their own.
