Water seems to be one of those cool fx which should be standard for people to get under their belt, right?
I spent today learning the basics of how to make a water effect, and I’d appreciate if you could give me feedback on how I can improve it.
I created these three meshes for the effect:
These two textures:
and here’s what my ns and materials look like:
- M_Droplets controls the texture on the Droplet, CrownSplash(003), Spread, and SpreadRipple.
- M_SplashesSpritesheet controls the textures used for the Splash_Flipbook.
- M_WaterStream controls the look of the falling water stream.
The fountain emitter uses the default sprite material.
