Jumping in super late on this one , not sure I’ll make it in time but the concept got me too excited to not try.
The idea is a character mid-ability-cast. Her body starts fragmenting into large colored voxel chunks , cyan, magenta, yellow ,exploding outward from the energy point. What’s left behind is a ghost silhouette made entirely of particles. The memory of who she was, still holding shape before it dissolves.
Building it in Unreal Engine 5 with Niagara + Post Process Materials.
Build starts now. Fingers crossed I actually finish this ![]()
