Today I have recreated textures in Substance Designer this time so in case of texture quality it has came better. Made depth and edge glow and pulse from center.
For clean edges I’m using vertex color as input value.
Really nice improvement!
I’m already curious about how you achieved the pulse effect?
Tweaked some values and figured out how to smoothly flicker hexes in shader
I’ll try to get this little further. For now it’s made with standard baked animation but I’m looking for vertex animation resources with 3dsMax and unity.
I’m working in UE most time, there is easy to make replacement whole mesh at group of physical pieces and at same moment add radial force for fly out of pieces.
It would do, here I’m replacing mesh too, but for this kind of result I think physics isn’t necessary. I’m looking for something like this
but in Unity
I found a time to work on the sketch a bit
and of course some interscetion tests
Final
I will post shader soon

This is so amazing!! Thanks for sharing the idea as well.
I’m glad you like it
Thanks for sharing the idea !!!
It looks very cool! And thanks for sharing the process, it inspired me!
