Riot Challenge - WIP

I initially looked at making the constellation at the beginning with line renderers but it ended up being nothing that complicated. It started to become a headache to iterate upon as well as animate properly so I just used meshes and a clamped texture with a gradient mask that gets eroded to reveal the constellation. I also scale the constellation in each arms respective out facing axis slightly over the animation to add a bit of stretch to it.

The waviness is achieved with some UV distortion in the shader. I’m glad its noticeable, I was worried it was kind of a wasted time investment haha :slight_smile:
