My name is Alexandr Kardakov. And I have decided to learn a tech art and VFX. I will post my works here. Feel free to comment. I am open to criticise or your advices. 
My first work is ‘Grenade Boom Area Effect’. I am inspired by Xcom. I tried to make the effect in two materials without changing the rest.
Life needs more gifs in the world. Looking good so far.
Nice work, Loved the way the objects blink when they are inside the AOE as if the grenade is going to explode any moment now

I agree, nice touch! Such is the magic that Tech Art allows you where pure VFX wouldn’t quite be enough
