The only post I can find related to this topic was a reddit post a few years ago mentioning Krita not capable of replicate the minimum & maximum filter from Photoshop.
After a little more digging, I found out that it IS in Krita, but just under a different name in the G’MIC filter library and just wanting to share it here:
The Minimum & Maximum filter are both part of the ‘Morphological operation’, a kind of image processing operation. You can find it in the G’Mic Filter library under Contours category.
It actually has quite a few more knobs for adjustment comparing to what’s being offered in Photoshop:
Action-Erosion = minimum filter
Action-Dilation = maximum filter
