Moving from Mid to Senior/Lead

While thumbing over Immutable’s mission statement I liked seeing how they prioritize new tech to stay as relevant as possible in our rapidly changing industry.

For those of you who have jumped-ship to join newer, or smaller, or more ambitious teams, what was your experience? While transitioning, what were some risks you faced in your career, either starting out in new tech, or becoming a new senior/lead?

My experience with relocating has been pretty nice so far. It has its ups and downs obviously but the pros always overcome the cons.

The new teams I joined were always super supportive. Working with amazing people is such a great life experience.
