Mario Odyssey inspired enemy disappearance VFX

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to share my recent work. I was asked to make a Mario Odyssey-inspired enemy disappearance effect and here it is. Any feedback will be highly appreciated.


You have a great initial pop, with lots of character like Mario Odyssey but the last thing you see it too much of egg shaped objects. It needs more breakup to those shapes, which isn’t easy if they are 3D. There’s a few ways to do it but all are use case/art style dependent.
