Hi ! I enter the contest for the first time, but I am still novice in VFX. :stuck_out_tongue:
For now, I’m working on a disintegration effect, and I don’t know yet how to achieve this correctly. I thought to make spawn particles around the mesh but for now, my results were not satisfying ^^

you could try using a sphere emitter the same size as the mesh and then set it to surface only - that would help get the particles to appear where the mesh is

A little update :3
So, I tried to make some portals with Trapcode, and make somes adjustments on materials.


That looks cool! Are you going to make apply it to some sort fo weapon later?
