Hi ! I enter the contest for the first time, but I am still novice in VFX.
For now, I’m working on a disintegration effect, and I don’t know yet how to achieve this correctly. I thought to make spawn particles around the mesh but for now, my results were not satisfying ^^
you could try using a sphere emitter the same size as the mesh and then set it to surface only - that would help get the particles to appear where the mesh is
