The effect was achieved solely with the Niagara system and flipbook textures with 6D light information.
Effect and weapons lore:
The experimental hand-held grenade launcher was developed mostly for hunting giant spiders. It’s the perfect weapon to clean out the spider’s hideout with a powerful blast and secondary incendiary fire effects that burn the spider’s webbing away. Due to the complex explosive compound, the radius of the blast can vary widely, so a direct hit is always preferred.
