Nice work, timing and energy feel great!
I would try to add more color variation within the effect (right now the colors are very uniform, except for different emissive levels). I would either introduce a secondary color, or at least some different shades of value(brightness) and saturation.
The effects also feel quite ‘sharp’, if you add a few softer shapes, it will balance the whole effect a little bit more
