Here's a Disintegrate effect done in Unity applied mostly on enemies but not only!


Decided to recreate a Disintegrate enemies effect with VFX Graph and Shader Graph, and I think it’s a quite useful effect to get rid of the dead, I mean of the enemies. But objects in general could also go away like this, ofc.

Used the Skinned Mesh (Position) block in VFX Graph and created a simple PBR + Erode shader. All synched up and we get an effect like this one. More elaborated effect are possible with this technique, but it’s a good base to get started with.
