[HIRING] Hey everyone
We’re looking for a Graphic Programmer to join a Ukrainian hyper-casual mobile game studio, 300M+ downloads. Product — hyper-casual mobile games where every visual detail matters — satisfying effects, smooth animations, and shaders that make players think “wait, how did they do that?”
What you’ll be doing:
• Writing shaders and developing new graphics technologies
• Creating satisfying visual effects and animations
• Optimizing unconventional graphics for mobile devices
• Working on hyper-casual titles with potential expansion to PC
What we’re looking for:
• Experience with shaders, rendering, and animations
• Strong math: trigonometry, vector math, matrices
• Understanding of tweens/easings
• Creative and artistic eye — style, color, composition
• Unity/HLSL (Unreal/GLSL also fine), understanding of mobile GPU
Fully remote, flexible schedule Small team, no bureaucracy, no rigid deadlines Open to Ukrainian and Belarusian candidates
If it sounds interesting, feel free to reply here or DM me.
Happy to share more details
Hi! This position is a very strong match for my experience.
I’m a Unity Graphics Programmer / Technical VFX Artist working in game development since 2015. My core areas are HLSL and Shader Graph, custom rendering, VFX and animation, mobile GPU optimisation, post-processing, and development of graphics tools and technologies.
I have created, improved, and optimised over 1,000 visual effects and built around 20 custom Unity tools. I’m comfortable with vector math, matrices, procedural animation, shader optimisation, overdraw, batching, profiling, and translating visual ideas into performant mobile solutions.
I’m currently based in Georgia. If you are open to candidates outside Ukraine and Belarus, I’d be glad to discuss the role.
Hello! Strong interest here — graphics programming is the part of my work I enjoy most. My title is SW & VFX Engineer rather than “Graphics Programmer”, but shaders, rendering and VFX are a core part of what I actually do day to day: Unity/HLSL, VFX Graph, URP/HDRP, and a lot of squeezing unconventional effects onto mobile-class GPUs (VR, so the perf budget is even tighter than mobile). 10 years in the industry, fully remote the whole time.
One quick question before I finish putting my reel together: “Open to Ukrainian and Belarusian candidates” — is that a strict requirement, or does it just describe where most of the team is? I’m in Slovakia (CET, so essentially the same working hours).
If you’re open to it, I’ll send the portfolio and CV over. If not, no problem at all — I’d rather ask than assume.
