Final Fantasy 14: Stormblood - 2 Minutes of Red Mage Gameplay

Here are some effects of the latest update to the game.It says development footage I wonder just how much will change when they are done?

I am still new to Game VFX but I think most if not all of these are just texture sprite sheets and lights right. It’s all just really good textures, materials and camera effects right?

As for what might change, they might have to remove elements or change stuff to get it to perform well or they just decide that something doesn’t look right. It’s basically the devs protecting themselves in case some user goes “This effect doesn’t look exactly like it did in the video!”.
