Hi, I am a novice vfx artist and I will try to upload my various works here. I am also not a native English speaker, so I apologize in advance for any errors in the text.
My first completed work. I tried to repeat the igni sign from the Witcher 3.


During a break from working on the project, I decided to do something simple. Recently I decided to play a Chinese game: “Strinova”. And I wanted to repeat something from there and I decided to try to repeat the barrier before the start of the round. Different textures and a single shader are used here. I will be grateful for constructive criticism or advice.

I finally finished my project. I saw the concept in Deadlock, a new game from valve, and decided to repeat it for the sake of learning. It was difficult and sometimes very tiring, but I’m proud that I didn’t give up and finished it. I will be glad for constructive criticism or advice.

Oh, it’s been a long time since I posted anything here, of course, but 2 years later I’m back here. I recently made a new effect for my portfolio, and compared to my top effect, you can see how much my skills have improved. But I’m still very far from my mastery. Thanks to this forum that it exists, there is a lot of useful information here.
