Rinban gave me a bonus lecture, which included this little gem 
Was quite time consuming to build it (2 weeks around 2-3 hours a day) and I had a bunch more ideas to the base effect, that I implemented after.
There are still some parts I would like to polish, but for now I´m happy with the first pass.
