First time joining , not sure what result I’m aiming for just experimenting as I progress.
The shader that I use for this effect, I used the pow function to the texture map so that I can control the edge hardness.
To break up the circle, I distort the texture using the same circle texture with pow function to it as well so that I can control how hard it cut through the texture.
This is what I use for the little flame bits and smoke.
