I’m a 24 year veteran of the games industry, having started at Sierra On-Line in 1996 as a 3D art generalist. I got my start with Blizzard at the old Blizzard North studio in 2002, where I started on an unannounced project, while also contributing to the Diablo 2 1.10 patch and what became the character and VFX pipelines for Diablo 3.
Currently, I work as a Combat Designer working on Diablo Immortal. As a combat design, a big part of my role is providing feedback and direction on the execution of gameplay VFX to the design and VFX team. So, I still have a heavy involvement in VFX even though I almost never build anything anymore.
