The explosion looks quite nice! but that fire is hardly realistic imho.
Fire always has some gentleness about it, acts a bit like a liquid even, its not just a flipbook with a bright emissive red-ish color.
Fire merges, dances together, distorts, blends.
Hope this inspires you to try and create more believable fire.
Dont get me wrong, imho not many people are able to pull off fire properly (and I am one of those who still cant)
I have only seen a few games so far (granted, I dont have much time to play games anymore) that pull of proper behaving fire.
Uncharted and tomb raider come to mind.
I remember there to be documentation/talks about the fire in previous mentioned games, but the one from https://www.sidefx.com/stories/fx-adventures-in-uncharted-4-a-thiefs-end/ seems to have lost its video, and the tomb raider one must be hidden in some gdc talk or something.
If I come across it, ill reply with a link
