So here is my magic frost spell 
Dont have many hours within VFX so im pretty satisifed with the result.

It’s off to a good start! Good job! I think what could make it a bit better is working a little more on the motion of things.
I’d probably leave some of the cold smoke lingering for a longer period of time and give more weight to the ice shards breaking away at the impact. Right now they have the feel of being the same density as the smoke.
The little bits that fly off in the direction of the attack is a nice touch! But they too feel as if falling in slow motion. Some of them could be, but some should be falling quicker as well and perhaps moving faster.
